PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING MATERIALS ARE NOW HERE FOR THE ULTIMAKER

We’re very happy to announce the availability of the long awaited professional engineering materials from Ultimaker for the Ultimaker 2+ series of 3D Printers.

The following materials are now available and in stock at our shop for all the engineers and hobbyist to push the capabilities of their 3D Prints:

Ultimaker Polycarbonate:  PC offers a great print quality, heat resistance up to 110 ºC, mechanical strength and toughness.

Ultimaker TPU 95A:  TPU features a Shore-A hardness of 95 and an elongation of up to 580% at break. It’s suitable for applications that require slight flexibility, wear and tear, and chemical resistance.

Ultimaker Nylon:  Our Nylon is strong, abrasion-resistant, durable and engineered for low moisture sensitivity.

Ultimaker CPE+:  CPE materials are chemical resistant, tough, and dimensionally stable. CPE+ handles temperatures up to 100 ºC.

 

In true Shop3D.ca fashion, we’ve also included optimal recommended print settings for each filament in the description.  In the next Cura update, material profiles are expected to be updated for the new materials.   Please contact sales if you have questions about he new materials.
